As a member of the community we expect you to play an active role in ensuring all shared spaces, workshops, meeting rooms and kitchens are used safely and kept tidy.

> What is the postal address?

For international deliveries/couriers, DHL, TNT etc. you must not put Makerversity on the invoicing address. Makerversity can be on the shipping but not on the invoice address. All shipping addresses should read:

> Where do I collect my post?

All Makerversity members post comes to the team office in Vault 2, you can come by anytime during normal office hours (9-6pm weekdays) to collect your post. If you are expecting a large parcel, please ensure you can collect this from the team on the day you get a notification that it is delivered (we don't have space for forgotten post!).

Letters & small packages are in the postal unit on the wall and organised by company name (if you haven't put your company name, it might end up in the '???' cubby). Large parcels are below this in no particular order.

> Where should I direct my guests who are coming to visit?

The New Wing entrance of Somerset House, just off Lancaster Place, right by Pennethornes cafe. Guests should contact you once they arrive there and you can go and meet them. Remember that guests will not have an access pass so you will also need to let them back out.

> How do I book to use the Fusion Lab event space?

> How do I book a meeting room in Somerset House?

There are a selection of meeting rooms that Somerset House Trust provide, that can be hired on a half or full day basis. To book email westwingreception@somersethouse.org for a Meeting Room Request Form or call 0207 420 9400.

> Can I book an event space within Somerset House?

Yes, there are a number of large rooms within Somerset House available to hire for private events (invited guests only, photo shoots, rehearsals, working sessions etc). These are managed by Somerset House Studios and as a member of Makerversity you get discounted members rates on these.

You can see the spec for all of these spaces here. If you'd like to enquire about booking a space please email charlotte@makerversity.org with the space you are interested in, the dates/times you require it and a brief description of the nature of your event.

> Can I get access to the West Service Yard in a vehicle to unload/load something?

Yes, email charlotte@makerversity.org with vehicle reg, date & time you need access, driver name and length of stay to get booked in, with as much notice as possible!

Please note that the service yard is in constant use and get's very busy especially during Somerset House exhibition installs, so generally there is a max unload time of 1hr, please take this into consideration.

> How do I use the workshops?

Before using the workshops you must complete a health & safety induction. These run weekly and you can book onto the next one by going to Menu > Workshop Inductions. Some machines require indivdually scheduled inductions, any questions you can email workshop@makerversity.org

> How can I submit a job for the CNC?

You can submit a job by emailing workshop@makerversity.org - CNC time is charged at £30/hr

> How can I contact other members?

You can share opportunities, jobs & other fun stuff with all or some members by going to Menu > Message Board

> How do I book a machine/meeting room?

You can book a resource by going to Bookings > Find a Resource. For meeting rooms you can book up to two hours in one booking and please remember to leave them as you found them (or better!)

> One last thing...

We love nothing more than a self initiated event/project - if there's something you want to start, host, suggest etc then do it! Maybe it's a special interest group, maybe a monthly meetup to share ideas or crit projects, maybe it's a one off event to showcase your new product.
